Tersa Earth named among Top 250 Global Startups for SLINGSHOT Singapore; invited to pitch live at Dreamforce’s Dreampitch
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Aug. 26, 2025 – Tersa Earth, a Vancouver-based cleantech company converting mine waste into clean water and recoverable metals, is recognised on the international technology stage.
Tersa Earth was named one of the Top 250 Global Startups in SLINGSHOT 2025, Asia’s leading deep-tech competition. The showcase takes place in Singapore, Oct. 29–31, 2025, where finalists compete for a share of $2 million in prizes.
Tersa was invited to pitch live on stage at Dreampitch, part of Salesforce’s Dreamforce conference in San Francisco on Oct. 15, 2025, an event featuring three invited startups using AI for global impact, with cash prizes and additional support for the winner.
“Being recognized here in BC, across Asia and now on stage in San Francisco shows the reach of what we’re building,” said Barinder Rasode, co-founder and CEO of Tersa Earth. “Recognition matters. But what matters more is proving that mines can shift from toxic water and long-term liabilities to clean water and reclaimed land.”
Tersa Earth’s proprietary platform uses biology and electrochemistry to treat mine-affected water while recovering dissolved metals. Field trials have shown up to 99% recovery of metals such as copper, rapid neutralisation of acidic water and removal of contaminants such as arsenic. The company is advancing pilot projects with tier-one mining partners and Indigenous communities across North America.
