As a Mechanical Engineer at Tersa Earth, you will lead the design, testing, and scale-up of industrial Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) systems used to treat acid rock drainage and metal-laden wastewater. Your work will directly support the transition from pilot systems to deployable infrastructure that enables clean water, reduced mine liabilities, and recovered value from waste.
You will work closely with biological, chemical, electrochemical, and mining engineers to deliver a first-of-its-kind, field-ready system.
As a Chemical Engineer at Tersa Earth, you will play a key role in advancing and scaling a proprietary class of microbial fuel cells for the treatment of acid rock drainage and metal-laden wastewater. Your work will bridge laboratory research and real-world deployment, helping translate biological and electrochemical performance into commercially viable systems.
You will work alongside engineering, biology, and operations teams to optimize system performance and guide field deployment.
